Legion Holds Breakfast

An All-you-Care-To-Eat breakfast was served to 135 people at the Legion Hall on Sunday, September 8th.  Guests enjoyed the pancakes, French toast, eggs, hash browns, sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee.  The next breakfast and bake sale will be Sunday, October 13.

The Lost Nation Legion is serving its monthly breakfast on December 8th, at the Lost Nation Legion Hall.  Serving will be from 7:00 a.m. until noon.  The all-you-care-to-eat-here breakfast consists of eggs to order (including omelets), pancakes, French toast, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and sausage, gravy, toast, coffee, milk and orange juice.  The cost is $7.00 for adults; $4.00 for children under 12 and pre-school is free with a paid adult.

Semi-Annual Catfish Fry at the Legion


    Lost Nation Legion Post 381 held their Semi-Annual Catfish Fry  at the Legion Hall Friday, September 27.  More than 150 guests dined on catfish, baked potatoes, green beans, cole slaw and a roll.

Legion's Breakfast a Success

    More than 195 people attended the Lost Nation  All-You-Care-To-Eat breakfast held Sunday, October 13 in the Legion Hall.  The Legion Post would like to thank the Eden Valley campers who came in to eat after the Bluegrass Festival.  The next breakfast is Sunday, November 10.

Legion Post 381  Donates Flags


    Legion member Ken Brady, left, and Commander David Burmeister, right, display the classroom flags donated to the Midland Elementary School in Oxford Junction.  The flags were presented during the Veteran's Day program Monday, November 11 at the school. 

Enos Ihns is Legionnaire of the Year

 

Legion Commander David Burmeister, left, congratulates Enos Ihns, right, on being selected as the   Legionnaire of the Year for the Menzo Widle Post in Lost Nation.  Enos served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded two Purple Hearts.
